What happened to show your work? Would be hard for someone to sit down and go over the scene with the student and see if he can talk the talk? It's not like those shots are all that great, they are right where I would expect someone in his position to be. It's not like modern furniture in a small apartment hasn't been done… -

Really? That's kind of... slow of you then. Games are far more than just the graphics. We talk about choices all the time in narrative, whether we liked an ending to a game, why a certain character is made old or young, or gruff or bubbly, etc. This is merely an extension of these topics, and as artists we should be aware… -

When I have down times I tend to go to Bobby Chiu's podcasts I think he just has a great sense of what artist go through and talks about them freely on his podcasts. The thing is, that most of those 2billion of revenue have not been done with AAA productions or even AA productions, but with browser- and mobilegames. So yes this will bring new start ups, but until those startups will do anything but browser or mobile games i doubt anything will change drastically to the german games… -
