I think one of the biggest problems is the anatomy of your snakes, they look a lot more like snakes rolled from play dough right now rather than real snakes. There is a lack of weight with the character when he interacts with the pole he monkey climbs. Give him some sag in his back side and a little bounce when jumping to the pole and it should look better. Other than that - keep at it. Looking good. -

Meh those wings would be simple to do. Just model the structure. Ignore the folds and tears but make sure they sag a bit. When you're comfortable you can proceed to the next stage of sculpting them.
