Polypaint uses vertice colors, not UVs. These means you'll want to polypaint the highpoly model in order to get the most detail out of it. Only the lowpoly model needs UVs.
Great Work! I would be interested in how you did the torn cloth borders of her hair band in the highpoly, any chance of giving us some insight in this? :)
@ Kapoff Nice Highpoly. The weapons' blades look a bit thin and dull though. Been working on the High Polys for the weapons. Gonna move on to low poly stages now.
Here is my highpoly for the weapon ! My low poly is almost done just the eagle thing to model and all the uv to do but hope to have a normal map for tomorrow !
First real go at highpoly texture baking, was pretty fun. Those darker areas are just where it's catching the shadows :/ Will be used on this Alsoo, some quick masters studies
So I'm finishing up the highpoly, with the plan of having just a simple ak with several attachments and with all the attachments on I will have a much more apocalypse style ak.
Thank you for a quick reply, attaching the model wireframe screenshot. if you need the models as well i can do that as well. the highpoly is shown without the turbosmooth itterations
Progress on trunk highpoly. Thanks for all the kind words gang.....except you Dragonar - I was mad for a few milliseconds reading your post......till next time.
