Update on pic... had some time to render some mud, leafs, more grass, shrooms, more contrast and highlights everywhere. I can still go higher in the highlights i think.. maybe add some bloom. This is like 20 more mins of work.

Oh and I have relaxed UVs like 20 times, what I haven't done is a cage, I don't know to do one in 3ds Max, and I can't on Xnormal because the high poly is about 1,5 milion vertex and on DX9 the max is lower
thanks Kawe, you confirmed my own thinking after getting feedback from others... I'm going to break the tutorials up into parts... and make them more clear and focused. each video will be 15-20 min with an option to d/l the entire video
+1 . I ma just at that Hinterland parts. Man these side quests and constant crushing will kill me. I hope game will be better when I can get to that 20+ hours :D But you know... the first one ( Origins) is still the best one :D
Tried it today. Took about 20 minutes to install, sat through around 15 minutes of loading screens after creating a character and jumping to a location. Struggled to walk out of a door as the latency and framerate was so shocking, got stomped on by a level 40 guy. Uninstalled.
I like the scene, great colors! In terms of planning everything, pushing that painting further isn't necessary. I'm just realizing I spent around 20 hours on a detailed line drawing of my next environment because I fussed around on small details.
Hi gigantic team I m interested in the ramp texture that apply into your character . May I ask if the set up is 80 percent of the black color apply in the ramp texture ? In other word 80 percent of black color and 20 percent of white color
I have a [ame]http://www.amazon.co.uk/UltraSharp-2009W-20-inch-Widescreen-Monitor/dp/B002DKB92I[/ame] timwiese, define 'quite well', I am want a vertical viewing range to be a solid as the standard landscape orientation. Anything less is just going to be annoying. ;)
Sad though that a lot of gaming history is going to disappear into the ether. We're talking stuff going on 20 years old, back to the late DOS / early Win95 era. I used to still be able to find stuff for MechWarrior2, the original Tomb Raider, and Total Annihilation on there.
