Wat. Why didn't you open the thread with that.. If anyone has a AMD card with newer drivers it'd be interesting to hear if there are any problems with 3d software. I have my eye on the 390 right now. 8GB of ram for $330 US is pretty great.
Finished up the 2nd Civilian texture variation. Same specs as the other civilian, 396 Polygons, 16 Bones, 512x512 texture map. If you'd like to see more of the pack check out: http://www.indiegogo.com/projects/character-asset-pack/x/2305754
pior: that tool at 3.20 is just the same sculpting tools. You can have alphas, pinching, carving, different kind of brushes etc just like in zbrush, but not at quite the same performancelevel. And I think in modo 301 they didnt have all the sculpting in yet?
Really nice work....you mean tris when you say 3991 polies right??? Think you could get some closeups of the wires??? Especially the head....that poly flow looks really nice up there...at least from another's student's perspective that is :-)
Doing a little something different this time. As a person who loves music a bunch and the band 311. I've been thinking about sculpting the band as a whole in Zbrush and later have some use for possibly a 3D piece to illustrate. -
Here is a thread about tuts I guess, but everyone their is having problems with the speed. http://www.crydev.net/viewtopic.php?f=291&t=70805 Guess this can help as well: http://www.crydev.net/viewforum.php?f=320 Great news!
Houdini Indie? $100K income limit, no resolution render limit for stills, 1080p limit for animations. $200 for a year. Very good renderer called Mantra + unlimited Mantra Tokens. http://www.sidefx.com/index.php?option=com_content&task=blogcategory&id=244&Itemid=399
Flewda, Thanks for the crit! I changed the diffuse and the spec with this update, I dont know if I like it more though, it just seems.. "different". Was it a step in the right direction? http://img137.imageshack.us/img137/3191/renderjr5.jpg The biggest change was in my spec map.
Ok so i figured it out, well a way around it anyway. When i imported the heightmap into UE4 i simply increased the Z scale to 390 instead of 100 and that seems to have done the job. Thanks for the advice guys.
Just to start off, here's couple of my wip projects: Here's the concept for the Dungeon Corridor: http://cloister.deviantart.com/art/Dungeon-level-2-level-concept-A-Main-Corridor-281266756?q=gallery%3Aconceptworld%2F25712843&qo=191
