So i've been working on this dude in the last 2 months for a CG Workshop course i attended as a student, and finally yesterday i think the journey came to an end. Specs: 24k polys + 2 x 2048 textures.
These are great! My one advice is to upload smaller file sizes. 1920 or so is a good maximum size. The last two you posted were 4500 x 3187 (about 5mb!) and 3267 x 2453 (about 3mb!).
Hi there, me again!(Assuming there may be someone interested in this thread) Just wanted to post an update on the 240. Started working on the bipods, and changed up the grip some. And also decided to throw in a shot of the wire frame. It's a bit messy.
PT2 was updated to 2.3: - it's now possible to create two grids in the same time from quadrangle path; - and it's possible to have areas of high density from selection; - new manual is available at http://pt2.readthedocs.io/en/latest/
Diavel first ride: http://www.motorcyclenews.com/MCN/News/newsresults/videos/2011/February/feb1011-video-ducati-diavel-first-ride/ Seems that its way better than anyone expected with a 240 mm back tire
just bought 10 books off there, normally i only go with amazon.ca but for only 40 bucks shipping this large order was worth it. total of $240 for 10 art books?! yes plz :D thanks for the heads up
if the above was not enough, here is a good app to find what kind of gear to wear depending of the temperature and weather.. http://www.runnersworld.com/cda/whattowear/0,,s6-240-325-330-0-0-0-0-0,00.html
Hi, I am trying to reduce the number of polys on this wheel. It is currently 248. I would like it around 100 but without all the jagged edges. I'm not even happy with the profile of this wheel to be honest. If anyone is willing to share a trade secret I would really appreciate it.
I'm not sure how much this tut would contribute, but I've played around with it a couple of times and liked it: http://www.ryankingslien.com/?p=203. Hopefully it helps.
