Great job guys! Everything looks awesome. I'm a kinda beginner in handpainted textures, (and in 3D on average) and I'm working on a personal project to improve my skills but got stuck yesterday night. That's how it's looking so far. It's inspired by @AntonioNeves 's works due to I really like his style. Thanks for sharing…
Tried to do a paint over for you. I usually like to place a sun some where to remind me where I want the sun light to come from. then take the base color and then pick a color above and below that. Depending on the angle of my sun I will paint light areas where i think the sun would hit and darker areas where the sun…
Hi, here is my latest project done for the class of Ancelmo Toledo, was really good to try something different with a hand painted style, thanks to Ancelmo and all my friends who help me with this project. Concept by Woo Kyungzin I hope you guys like it.
Incredible work in this thread! So much of it in one place! I have a couple questions: Can I assume that the posed character renders have already been rigged? Or do you model them like that? Also, if these are hand painted textures, what are the alternative methods of texturing?
Hiya! Felt like making a tree-sized Mushroom which is a mix of an eggplant and shower caps. Was fun to mix two unrelated objects together and see what kind of design it can create for a fantasy prop! Was also really inspired by Zangarmarsh in WoW! Love the Mushroom trees there.
just like Jordan up there, i had the opportunity to work on one of my new favorite thematics, Spirit Blossom! I was able to work on Ahri, all her forms, and her chromas ^^ for more shots/breakdowns, please visit Artstation: https://www.artstation.com/artwork/lxDa4V
Here's a little something I've been working on in my free time. Not quite done yet on the textures and I still would like to pose him and give him an expression so he's not so static. (Wild star fan art - Smuggler) Concept art - Smuggler
Good stuff everyone! I'm here to say that I joined in the WoW Legion contest, here is some stones that i'm doing, its a wip yet, check more in the link below if you like it! thanks! https://forum.sketchfab.com/t/floating-tower-from-mardum/9917
@tomandjerry The tree silhouettes are looking cool, its hard to critique the rest as it depends what you're going for. Generally less vibrant colors and smaller details like you have tend to look more realistic. Did you have a style in mind you are trying to achieve?
