Getting back into the swing of things! I've been told by alot of people that this looks like the Eat 3D tutorial, but just to clarify I'm not using that tutorial for this model. My plan with this model is to create a high quality model for film production, texture him with mari, render him with vray, and composite him into…
Here is my version of the Old Damaged Pillar from Eat 3D. Learning as much as I can so I can get caught up with you guys. You all are truly inspiring. Here is my model. 2,936 tri's and 3 2048x2048 textures Diffuse, Normal, and Spec. Thanks [SKETCHFAB]pq5Uo06iLBffRf06cPRgioEmyF5[/SKETCHFAB]
Great stuff on this thread as always guys!!! Here you can see some pictures of one of my last jobs: The painted model of the Russian warship (I published some pictures of the 3D model some time ago), as usual it was painted by Jens Christian Jensen from Valdemar Miniatures. And a new ship model: the bremer kogge
Ysalex: Really nice, she looks really convincing, as if she's a real person, it's something you don't see often in realistic 3d Somnovus: I ... Like !!! Crosspost from the sketch thread, topic was started by ErikNilsson: Decaying elemental; I just started playing around with different brushes until shapes started to form.
I'm a freshly graduated student from a advanced program and thought to really try something different. I love the game Super brothers Sword and Sworcery EP. And why not try and take a pixelated character, turn them into a 3D character. These are just her 'low poly' count renders from Maya. A poly count of about 22,000. I…
A quickie. Haven't put much work into it thus far. Again, mainly to test out some new features offered in dDo, but I'm going to scrap most of the generated stuff and paint it myself I guess. Smoothing error at the front because idk. It goes away in 3Ds Max when using 3Point Shader's quality normals though.
Wow that turned out great for a kinect. I've been doing scan-data cleanup for a small 3d scanning studio, and even with a whole multi-camera setup this is fairly close in quality to what they are getting. Now I wonder if they are using misconfigured equipment or some such. I suppose I shouldn't complain if it means they…
Love what I'm seeing here, specially all the 3D models with Sketchfab. I've been working on this a while. I have been able to work on it only for two sessions now but its coming along nicely. Just need to tweak a few things here and there. Next step is texturing. Still a bit hesitant to jump right in. Cheers!
Well, this is what i am trying to do. NEver finished anything but determind to finish this (no concept, just using my imagination). This test is mainly to learn 1. Tileable textures 2. FOliage 3. Handpainted things. Still new to 3D world but i love it so far. "Humble Island of Twin Trees" ... Dont ask. Just came up with…
GAH! Iori is looking awesome! Nice work Crazyfool. I dont think I've eer posted in the WAYWO thread. Since I came across it while I was actually working on something, I couldn't help but post. I found a piece of concept by Adrian Dadich called Kitsune and wanted to 3d it up a bit. Here's the WIP: Keep on polycounting!
