Now when I try to insert the speedtree mesh via the terrain properties, the factory button to select speedtree mesh does nothing. Either does making a new deco layer, right clicking, and adding selected decoration in the terrain editor window....I f@%^*&! give up! -

What walkonsky said. You have to press F to force save it if it isn't used in the scene. Huge annoyance but you get used to it. Also, if you want to remove an action that is in use I believe it's shift+Xicon to remove it on save.... Yeah, Blender can be a pain in the ass sometimes. -

Select the stitch layer's transparency by CTRL+LMB on the layer thumbnail, then create a new layer and fill that with white. Copy and paste that layer into your DDO layer stack. Once you've done this, visit my DDO tutorial and CTRL+F to "Masking Without Color IDs" for the rest of the process. :) -

same. I think the old graphics give the game a certain charm. Still, unless I get involved in some crazy project within the next 6 months. Ill set up a team to remake system shock 2... only if its legal to release to public. If not, the f it. -

Also, stay the F off facebook and reddit during work hours. Focus on your work for the time you are at your desk. Get your shit done in a timely manner, and no one is going to bust your balls for not staying late. If they do, then ya. Not a very good place to work.
