Nuke and Fusion are direct competitors...so they will have a very similar feature set. Also similar workflow. Z Depth with anti aliasing is handled by the render app actually. Compositing apps just work with 2d images. Deep EXR images will be multi channel and floating point.
Pick one view as your 'dominant' view and follow that view when your ref planes disagree. I've never seen blueprints that match up. Most of the blueprints floating around the web were not created by car companies, expecting them to be perfect is too much to hope for.
Bump: I think this is because you don't have a locked background layer underneath. You can have sample all layers ticked and it'll work on a layer above the flattened, locked layer but it will not work without one. If all your layers are floating it won't work.
If your doing super high poly product shots you might want to think about free floating decals. This way all you have to unwrap is the decal. You might have better control until you learn how to unwrap properly. good luck
Here is a crude paint over, creating a concept is extremely challenging for me, I guess I'm just not very creative. I'm going for some kind of victorian swashbuckler, but I don't really like how all the plates float and don't really seem to fit together.
Two Listen- I see what you are saying, I can definitely thicken those up and figure out a better way to inset the screw. As of right now, they are just floating geometry. I will post the wires tomorrow, when my eyes are uncrossed. Thanks for the feedback!
Fixed it! It definitely was that extra face I had floating around in the background. Forgot I had changed the belly button a bit and didn't weld the UV's there. Changing it messed with the vertex order and caused some difficulties, but I managed to save my sculpting job. Everything is great! =]
Today I made a skybox, played around a little with the vegetation and added red flowers. The next thing I'm gonna do is fix the tree, me thinks. I'm also considering the idea of lowering the island down into water, instead of floating around randomly, but I'm not sure.
all i see here is a floating head man... For real though, his armour could use some more variation in tone than it has right now. His chest cavity literally takes up most of his torso. and he has awesome gauntlets.
Wow, everything is looking great! The one thing that is popping out to me is that the rug laying on top of the other rug shouldn't be casting that large of a shadow. It seems the top rug is floating above the bottom rug. Shorten the shadow on the bottom rug and it should look like it is sitting on top.
