It is without a doubt one of the most beautiful films i've seen in recent years, if not ever. I cannot recommend this movie enough, just on the the visual aspect alone. It has some inconveniences like, the length. I felt it was a touch too long. The plot (where it exists) is good but not exceptional. The director is Gaspar…
i might not be quite understanding it, but it seems like regular subd modeling workflow except it shows end result ? even if its by edges and not vertexes i find it easier to edit vertexes, but thats just me hehe. https://imgur.com/8HenhjG
so you're self learned, you're working on your own game, you have a demo level to show and you're documenting the process on a DVD. Sounds like a "dev blog / tutorial" except it's on DVD? Sounds interesting, if you market it as just that.
Thanks I actually didn't see that been working on it too long haha. Yeah I was thinking of twisting the wires or changing something with them, I'll take that into consideration. It won't be used in anything except as a portfolio piece. The character is a prisoner. Thanks!
Updated my lighting and post processing color grading levels a little. Even fixed the metalness so the reflections looked a little nicer. Except for a dirt/roughness paint pass I don't know what else I could do.
I've just installed this (clean install, deleted the old version). None of the buttons are responsive, with the exception of the "report a bug" button. I made sure my photoshop version is up to date as well, in case that has any bearing. Any suggestions?
With a 2.5 level, there's not much different you would do from making a normal level except you only have to worry about it looking good from one(ish) angle, and have a flat area along the front for the fighters to stand.
That image you posted, Jacque is surprisingly effective. Simple, but very effective. I am kinda sad about this news. I'm not a fan of apple products, except the iPod touch, but it's not hard to separate his company from him. Sad day
ah, yeah, that probably would have been a good idea. it wasn't suggested to me at the time, though, so I just sorta figured he wanted us to do them as one single model. except the head, that's going to be separate.
Welcome, the images you linked are private so no one can view them without permission. Also, I don't like reading the font you are using, just makes me feel less comfortable reading :( (except for the bit in the brackets)
