I didn't make it a goal to zip through it quickly, that's for sure. I ran from waypoint to waypoint, stopping to kill people I came across just like any other FPS. Maybe the Steam page is off a bit? It says 3.9hrs, so I dunno =\
Quite a few publishers are "cleaning house" and shutting down studios, I was affected by THQ's cutbacks earlier this year, been seeing their stock fall and lineup dwindle for over a year now. Really hope all the talent let go lands new jobs quickly and smoothly!
If you want a printer, Canon offers good ones and most importantly the ink carts are cheap (never buy cheap printers, BTW!). Or go for a laser printer. Laser printers tend to make up for their cost quickly after you've printed a few university course scripts.
Ha ha...yeah, great point SupRore. The mb guys loves them some Sargent. Best to keep an open mind Blaizer. Don't dismiss work like his so quickly, it comes across as being ignorant and or arrogant. Now what was this thread about again?
An update on the corridor above the stairs. Still very much a work in progress, as you can see there are still black/white parts to be textured, plus the lack of random objects scattered around. Also the lighting was painting very quickly as it was just a test, so its only temporary
Ok. Be prepared to put your nose on your screen to actually see "something". Here's a 7 minutes crappy screener of the Brink Demo at Quakecon. SD guys, please don't remove it too quickly ;-) http://www.dailymotion.com/relevance/search/gameplay+crados/video/xa6mds_gameplay-crados_videogames
I've got a pair of dell's 20.1" LCD monitors... they rock. They've got vga, dvi, rca, and svid in, and can quickly jump between each input with a single button press (and it has picture-in-picture). I do both my console and pc gaming on them.
love the horned guy in black.jpg! if anyone wants an estimate on price, go ahead and send a .stl file to info@robotthecompany.com and we'll get back to you as quickly as possible. http://www.pixologic.com/zbrush/down...nter/zplugins/ - might come in handy. max dimensions are 6x6x8 inches.
Quick save for me is an autosave feature which I cant click. Do you mean save project? I dont use save project as the file quickly reaches 5 gig and wont save past that. To be fair I work on a laptop. I always save the tool (top right in your screen grab). That handles a figure up to 12 Mil points which is usually more…
Looks awesome! Great modeling for sure. My only crit is that your screenshots seem like they could benefit from some tweaking of the texture filtering options in the engine. The textures get blurry too quickly. I want to see that awesome detail you painted in the textures. :D
