The fact that they gave you until Jan 12th is pretty nice and relaxed. This prop shouldn't take that long, so it feels like they realized you can't work on it 24/7. 10k tris shouldn't be a worry either; just gotta make things more efficiently. 10k tries for a prop like this isn't super strict. Just gotta figure out what…
It's difficult to speed up accuracy and quality. It does take time to gather references, and to build new textures. Especially since you're matching real-world locations. How long did it take to reproduce the stadium? I'd expect 5-7 days for something like that.
WIP 7 Reviewing all the bony landmarks according to this https://www.artistsnetwork.com/art-subjects/portrait-figure/how-to-draw-bodies-lea-colie-wight/ and trying to accentuate planes to make masses not feel flat, assuming that's the the answer. Still haven't swapped the eys yet.
Thank you Bonkahe. I know about collisions need to be realy simplified, But didnt know how to export custom collisions.so thanks.I using Max btw. A few years before that, i had mobil internet which had 7 GB limit.i Loved it...
Hey, That was a little tricky. I think because hex patterns don't line up with square grids like the tile generator. I had to compensate by stretching the pattern shape a little. and making the tile generator XY amount 7 by 6 and vertical offset of 0.5
Cutout is binary, its either on or off, so you would use that for something like a chain link fence. What you probably want is refraction. Here is a video on how to use it: https://www.marmoset.co/posts/getting-to-know-toolbag-3-ep-7-refraction/
Thanks! I actually just went and bought the 5. Turns out that the gestures are more responsive than at school. Don't know if it's because of less wear being a new tablet or if it's windows 8 since we run windows 7. Either way, good investment.
i think it looked better in step 6 before you did whatever you did to destroy the color and values in 7. there are better ways to make it brown without losing all the information you painted previously. this thread should probably be moved to p&p
There're some really cool shapes in there. I love the trousers in 7 and the sharper shapes in 8. Are you going to do more than more character? I think you have a lot of different personalities up there, I'm interested to see where you go with it.
