In my experience for character blendshapes the principal or lead character artist will create the benchmark blendshapes and the pipeline along with a tech artist to support on setting up the tools, and the character art team will use the pipeline tools and benchmark assets to create the blendshapes for their individual… -

I don't want premium accounts, or employee of the month thingies, but I do believe in philanthropy. Even though PC shouldn't rely on it, I'm pretty sure some people would be ok to give a bit of money every months, like renting a game server or w/e, in a complete anonymous and disinterested way. I have a q9450 processor and a 9800gt w/ 1 gig vram and I've been really itching to get my hands dirty with dx11 features, but threads like this depress me and make me feel like I'm better off waiting and building a whole in computer in a few years once new consoles are out. -

awesome. i agree w/the gladiator comments above. the leg coming forward needs some more shape to it. and it seems that that same leg is not coming out of the hip properly? maybe? that's RIGHT where my eye went when i opened that image up.....right to the front leg. anyways......that's nitpicky. super aweseom work man. -

Freaking insane. Congrats Ryan! Thanks everyone for your contributions! If you want to get something hardcover w/ dust jacket and pretty decent photo image quality I've used http://www.blurb.com/ before and been happy with the results. I think I priced it out at $80-90 for the 8x10 at around 300 pages. -

Mouse input drives the Torso Base for "mouse look". W,A,S,D drives the players actual movement. In most cases the player is going to be using the mouse to look around not move. Looking can act as steering but you don't want to waste mouse input on something that is on or off, a key can do that well enough.
