Someone - christ I forget who, I am horrible with remember names - was working with me on a Unity setup for previewing models. And.. it was working! We'd just need to A.) Shoehorn it in to vbulletin and B.) Secure it so no one can steal the native files. Dammit, now I feel horrible for forgetting who I was working with.
Looking great! My first thought was she looks like an evil Jasmine B) Only critique I can give so far is that her arms are really short compared to her super long legs. I might even bump the size of her head up a tiny bit. Something like:
@"Eric Chadwick" can you elaborate what you meant here : "making sure your backups are redundant" Do you mean that I should have two separate back up locations? or like, sort of like rotating stock? in that before you overwrite backup A you save a backup B first?
Agree with you and one annoyance i cannot figure out yet is how to get additive selection with Box Select or lasso in edit mode since if you want it to work you have to hit B on the keyboarb and you get the old cursor that is different than the Select box one and it is suppose to be the same tool!
Could be a packed texture. Open it in PS(or similar) and look at each of the R, G, and B channels individually. It could be Gloss/SSS/Reflection maps for a skin shader or a mask for hair/eyebrows. A packed texture is just a method of saving draw calls/memory in-engine by packing multiple greyscale maps into unused channels…
I think A or B for me, C looks more like a gem or something and I think your missing out on the whole cyclops part. this is just personal opinion, but if your making a cyclops, the eye is really the big unique thing, so I would really focus on making that a main focal point of the character.
customize the heck out of Modo This is the key to modo once you know how to model with it B) I rarely use the menus as I have my own scripts and a tool box just a click away. Means you can stay in the zone without crawling through menus to get what you need.
Now this is what you call a "Good Female Character" Normal clothes, tough movements, poetic stance and movement, lower voice. And still looks beautiful/elegant. I think this is what Blizzard should have done when they were designing one. [ame]https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B-LsEgfJnkM[/ame]

I had a go with this last night but it didn't seem to do what it's supposed to. I'm using 3ds max 2014. I tried rendering the gradient map in 4096x4096 for my model but all it gave me was the uv map rendered on the red channel and g and b channels black. Any idea what's going on?
