Separated materials, yes. This way you gain better resolution as well. This is the normal approach fog bigger structures like buildings. You can also better reuse your textures. Imagine a bigger project, where there are 50 similar buildings. You don't want to texture all of them uniquely and eat up a bunch of video memory.… -

Whoa thats pretty cheap! I thought they were like over the £50 range... I'll look in to it! To be fair, my friend has a Razer keyboard and its lush... Here are some shots of a unity environment I built from scratch. All assets were designed on paper, then modeled in maya, textured in Sai/photoshop. I agree with Bonebrew22 on the pedestal. If you have the money for the full 3Point shader... it comes with a bunch of cubemaps. And it would probably save you time tweaking if you use it a lot. If it is only $50 like you were saying I would go for it. I bought it when it first came out and I think it is very worth it.…
