First render. Feedback is as always appreciated! :] Hopefully I can fix the problem with the normals, I know what causes it now. It's the highpoly not being perfectly symmetrical.
Thanks everyone! dpadam450: for the highpoly, its procedural textures, just Modo. For the old lowpoly shots its modo + photoshop + UE4 materials. Will probably upgrade soon :)
If you're rendering the texture from a highpoly source you can just render the elements with different colours and use the colours as masks. That's what I'll usually do.
Next stop is lowpoly/UV/Baking. I wanted to collect some feedback on the highpoly shapes before going on tough. Looking forward to your helpful input :)
Go mirrors edge style IMO! What are you highpolying by the way? Is it a specific type with lots of detail on? If not just do basic bevels and leave it to the texture work.
10k polys LowPoly 300k HighPoly UV maked in UVLayout in Marmoset:(standart settings) In Substance: (standart settings) UV's: Importing OBJ version of model to Marmoset lead to crush of program. What can i do?
