I think you are right. It isn't a game prop. It says it is an art test based on the Titanfall universe and the concept is from Respawn. There is also no wireframe shot or 3d viewer at all . The texture resolution looks insanely high.
Fur is looking good. Compare the top (without alpha fur planes) to the bottom (with alpha fur planes) Here is a shot showing the wireframe. And a final shot showing the alpha cutouts I'm using to give the fur transparency.
I would simply use UVW Xform modifier to move the UV +1 on the V axis. Then you can render your wireframe template. It will be textured exactly the same way in 3ds Max, and in any game, there's no difference.
Hello after a while. This project went on for a bit longer than expected. My entry for Artstations "The journey" challenge. If you want to see some wireframes and clay render, its here: https://www.artstation.com/artwork/1XNRL
I've been modeling basically anything without ever using booleans. Maybe you should work on understanding what is a wireframe (shouldn't take long) instead of waiting months for a tool that's faaaar from being necessary no ?
Considering the mesh detail of the candle, the barrel could use more polygons. A few edges for the metal bands, maybe a bunghole. Given this, wireframes of the scene might help reveal other balances. Also the large watermark is distracting.
I go to PlaygroundSquad in Falun. I've provided with a wireframe of the character, and also updated with some pictures of the main hall. As you may notice I've changed some small whings on the dwarf, like his chest and helmet.
Looking cool! I'd say add breakdowns and workflows. I'm not sure if your work is PBR, or what your wireframes look like, or what your UV mapping looks like. Include these in all your projects.
To understand how to model a certain shape if you cannot yourself come up with a solution, it would be best to do a search of other artists that created this gun. Do a search on Artstation for a Desert eagle and look for wireframe shots.
Hey, Avelyn! This design got even better, and you are so fast : D. AO bake are very nice. Just don't forget to show the UV mapping and wireframe as it is written in the guideline. Great so far. loving it =}
