You could also reduce the distance between the collar and the jacket mesh, the gap between them isn't entirely necessary. I could understand if the collar was popped or something, but just merging it into the body mesh is going to save you a lot of time along the whole pipeline. i guess in my case it would "just" (no clue if thats even possible) need both meshes merged into one taking a vertex and snapping that onto the next vertex inside a radius which is in no way connected to the element that said vertex is from. in the end i snapped all 1200 vertices by hand and just projected the changed… -

man hours aside performance wise it would be best if everything in the scenes used the same shader and better yet the same material on everything so the answer from a technical stand point is YES normal map those fuckers ! and merge as many objects together as you can get on one atlas map ! (seriously as much as possible) -

You don't need to merge the uv's and the textures all together.This can cause low resolution and unequalized texel ratio. If you work with multiple textures, then display just one in the uveditor when you uving. About the ao, you need second uv map for this. This is also needed for lightmaps so you must make it. -
Re: Cannot Connect verticies in 3ds MAx
So I ran the STL modifier, and none of the options show faces except open faces. All of these are open faces, but they won't merge. I delete them, and re-extrude them, but they won't work. Some won't weld together. When I bridge Two edges it makes a twisted face, and I can't make it not do that. -

I merged your threads together, there isn't any need to create a new thread for the same topic. From your list I would say either of the Nvidia 440's if those are the choices.
