ah sorry. completely misunderstood. This isn't a virtual texture as such despite needing the setting enabled. I'd assume the setting needs to be enabled to support the reatlime painiting. reading the docs - you should be able to combine your mesh paint with world aligned textures but it doesn't look like you'll be able to… -
