My Fog Shader
Can anyone show me why my fog shader is not working when i plug the bottom part into my opacity channel? I am trying to use depth biased alpha but it is not working for me. Thanks for the[IMG]file:///C:/Documents%20and%20Settings/Damien/Desktop/Fog/brokenshader.jpg[/IMG] help.. -

problem is you get really biased once you invest your time into learning all the commands, or customizing and scripting one of them. like i can use max fine, but prefer maya, since i write a ton of my own scripts for it, and made maya my bitch. -

I would go ahead and submit your resume. I'm not sure if we have any biases to "importing" people. We have people from England who I think we have helped with their visas/work permits. So I don't think we are a stranger to the process. -

Depth Alpha basically takes a bias to increase the softness. The heigh the softness the higher softer the transition. A bias of 0 should give you a hard edge. Be aware that theres a Bias field in the properties of the Depth Alpha node as well as the Bias input for the node. -

Im looking forward to seeing this as well. Wasn't completely blown away and wasn't really interested until my girlfriend starting talking about it. She has a thing for Aaron Johnson though, so she might be biased! I liked him in Nowhere Boy, not sure what he's like in other stuff. -

Beautiful piece, I agree with the comments that it's nice to see realistic anatomy in a zero suit Samus for once (i could be biased though because you made her built like me haha) :) I also particularly dig the material separation on the suit, the contrast of shiny with more matte trim looks great. -

All news is biased. I never could understand the arguments against violent video games, saying they cause violence. I've played Doom and Mortal Kombat, literally, since I was 3 or 4. And I cried once killing a spider. If people want to be violent, they will be. I don't think Video Games are to blame. -

I just loved how well Obama was able to defend himself per allegation from McCain, especially that Bill Ayers crap :] Milla - I think pretty much the entirety of Europe favour Obama by a pretty huge margin... Unfortunately it also tends to provide pretty biased media coverage over here. -

Mortal Kombat Shaolin Monks is fun as hell. Played it for 2+ hours about a week ago and had a ball. The ko-op mode makes that game (I was playing it with a coworker). If you like fighting or adventure games its a good buy. Think a MK version of god of war. But then again I may be biased. -

Sorry man, I totally had a brain fart there. so this is basically a directionally biased AO map.(applied to your diffuse.) edit also to add something constructive you can bake these in max using the mr ao shader. you change its type to 2 and it outputs the bent normal.
