The windows are on the ship are painted, not cut out so they're solid anyway, which means the water won't be flooding in. But that's some good advice with the cannon! Maybe I could look at replacing the bottom windows with those cannons :) -

Picked it up tonight - sooo awesome. The only object I could think of that didn't work was laser cannon. It just gave me a regular cannon. Otherwise, yeah they really did pack a crapload of objects in this game. -

@jose.fuentes Thanks for the feedback Jose! I agree that her cannon doesn't do her justice right now. I am planning to make a redesign for the cannon once i finish the retopo for the high poly pieces :) -

exactly, if you count the rings in the weels there would be 8 rings on each cannon, there will be 16 cannons instanced on the ship, that would be 128 rings and if each ring would have 50 poly's or so, it would already be ~6000 poly's for such small details. -

Holy shit, 13k no resist? That's really low even for a glass cannon. And honestly glass cannon probably isn't viable anymore. Just start goblin farming or gold farming and start getting some high dex, vit, all resist gear. -

well duh a portable crank powered gatling gun as that would fit the period or a naval cannon yaeh I checked gatling gun has popped as a suggestion earlier than my suggestion but I'm still hell-bent on one class like the Soldier getting a 1850s cannon -

This is starting to look more coherent as a blood elf engineer. One thing though, you may want to alter or get rid of the shoulder piece under the cannon. Right now it looks like the cannon would either have to float high above his shoulder or it would clip through it terribly. -

[/ QUOTE ] With a conventional gun/cannon, most the noise you hear is from the projectile breaking the sound barrier, so a railgun that fires a supersonic projectile should sound pretty similar. -

Thank you! The things on his arms are both supposed to be shields, propulsion for short leaps through the air and plasma cannons. I haven't modeled the cannons yet though. :P I decided to make him shorter.. I think it added some more character. Let me know what you think! -

I'm loving your hand painted textures! ; w ; But Avvi is right, I see no snow. Maybe make those cannon balls ice balls instead? They aren't reading very well as cannon balls and it might be more fun to have some hand painted ice balls! Just a suggestion though.
