playing around with the FOV and Focal length to try and get the scenes perspective to look more like the original reference Left image is with a FoV of 28 and the right image has an FoV of 35
Aha, but where would i get that extra £35? from when being a uni student in england is like being on the doll but everyones' proud of you. Its on my list anyway ;)
Really cool of you guys to release the scene. That is going to be a really nice and educative christmas present. :) Just a small thing, but at 0:35 in the video, is that a piece of Ivy clipping trough the glass?
A good tip when rendering is to NOT set your background color to straight black. (a value of 35 is pretty good) The mech looks pretty cool... didn't it have a knife attached to it somewhere?
Wow! Fuck.. this is awesome. I'm a fan of unlockables! However - I really hope the overall FEEL of the game never changes from these new additions. 35 achievements for the medic? That's ALSO AWESOME.
Someone was going over the Eat3D Old Pillar tutorial? http://eat3d.com/forum/showthread.php?t=35 I'm not sure if it works with anything past Max9. That's the last time I used it...
518/whatever has replaced it here too. You can still find 518's new on ebay for $35 or so. I like the scroll wheel, but it isn't the smooth clickless type.
And I hope it comes out before I am 35 :D They had released a baked-in skylight single-bounce lighting solution for that team. Yeah it is static, but I guess it is still fine ???
Roughly 100 tris there x4. - probably 75 for what his back blocks. Add another 35 tris to each side of the front I think it's easy enough for the low. It is a cool design.
Looking very solid! One of the best "diablo clones" i've seen especially for being pre alpha. Bit on the generic side but nothin' wrong with that. Love the crotch rocket @ 35 seconds in. HOOO!
