He's cleaned up the animations a bit and thrown it on his demoreel, both come up from 00:33 to 00:44 Khet Yee Sang animation demoreel Got bored and did another pose for the self portrait. Cool idea, you have a nice base to start from. F1-44 Everything here is pretty static. A good tip I learned is: when doing a motion, use the “largest control” to sell an animation. For example: when doing a laugh you could just animate the head, but to really sell it you want to add his hips and gut to involve the whole…
Hey man, you've got some good stuff in there! :) A couple of nit-picky things I noticed were: * Run: She seems to be holding her shield at a strange angle, like shes holding a handbag. Maybe have it resting above her arm instead of below? * Follow Through: There is a little too much follow through sometimes that makes it…

Just saw your thread, very nice work! I'm a big fan of black powder guns and even own an 1860 Army, so it's great to see someone tackle one of these big ol' beasts. If you're interested in accuracy, the Dragoon had two different engravings on the cylinder during its run. The first one used only for a few years, is a battle…
Break it into logical sections both in UV's and in polys. Also take advantage of symmetry as much as you can. For the hilt, see what you can get away with via easily tiled patterns, then break the hilt into sections that use that tiling. Same goes for the engravings. However if you want the engravings to be unique, or semi…
