hey guys love the work here every morning before I start my work I take a look and get some inspiration for my day here, this is my Arena net Test I just finished the high res yesterday thought I needed to rush but they moved it, this is about 5 days of work.
@kurthectic I like your gun, but I definitely feel like it could use some more finesse, especially in terms of the texture. It seems like you put too much effort into modeling the gun to have it be let down by a quick texture job. @afisher That bust is amazing.. your work always inspires me.
Hey Everyone, This thing started as a little mini project, and I kind of transformed it into something a bit more elaborate haha. It was built from Bobo's creature SDK base mesh, and I just went crazy with it. Anyway this little guy was inspired by the game RAGE! Gonna do a low poly and what not soon enough, but here is a…
Cranking out the particles. Another set inspired by classic vector arcade games. hello friends! Really inspiring work and thanks for the comments on the last thing, it means a lot! here's another thing I made for Mists of Pandaria: I think we're trying to get a thread going in P&P to showcase stuff, but for now I put a bunch more work up here: http://cghub.com/images/view/330171/
Awesome stuff here as always. Daphz : Man, this speedsculpt serie you are doing right now is really inspiring. Oniram : This is really polished, like this piece. It's simple, but well done. Wesley : Can't wait to see it finished. Great amount of detail you've got there, and you nailed the mood. Crossposting from my Dota 2…
Update on my Girl With The Dragon Tattoo inspired sculpt End of last year: http://www.polycount.com/forum/showpost.php?p=1476083&postcount=11380 Now casted in Hydrocal (Sorry for the pic quality crappy phone cam): I cleaned up the neck seam last week. I'll be refining the body today. The need to think of a surface finish.
Thread is so inspirational as usual! Spatz - Love this, the freckles are win. 100Chihuahuas - Cute. Really like the bone textures :] Been cracking on with this character, she's still baldy and needs a pose. Gonna rough up her face texture a bit too I think...! [also half those leg straps are missing] Gotta do colours next!
Received some good feedback from fellow polycounter's that my folio needed an outdoor scene so I went to work :D. Loosely based on a concept from Robin Olausson and other elements I made. The nano effect is inspired from Jeremy Baldwin from Vertex, and I thank them very much for such a cool effect!
Working on a robot suit designed by a friend of mine, heavily inspired by Ironman. Here are the legs so far, still loops to smooth and snap to fit them perfectly. Holes will be covered by some kind of muscle-like wires(Like the ones at the Crysis Suit) I'ts my first work in a hard surface/subD model so critics are always…
