Yes...but this is like someone invented coffee that was so hot that it melts your arm off. And the steam of the coffee can burn your eyes out. This is something that should only be produced for industrial or scientific purposes. With warnings and saftey gear, etc. Not something available to every kid that thinks…
That looks great Ruz. Not a bad price either, you could have easily spent more and gotten worse some place else. Of course if you pieced it to together, you would have saved a bit. BUT there is something to be said for just picking it up and taking it home. Plus someone else being on the hook for when and if it melts down.
To everyone in this thread, you are all incredibly talented in so many facets of all that life has to offer. Thank you for starting this thread and sharing more of your creativity with this community. My mind is absolutely melted by all of your skill and dedication to create such beautiful work. Hi, I noticed this thread and decided to share some of the stuff I released for free a while ago on my Sketchfab, for anyone who is interested in stylized, low-poly medieval melee weapons for their indie game projects. :) Simple Steel Sword: https://skfb.ly/6JKzD Simple Steel Axe: https://skfb.ly/6JKzF Simple Steel Mace:…
I think everything looks fine. I feel like its lacking maybe some focal points, which causes the already muted color scheme to meld together. But for a in progress shot its looking spot on. As for the overall feel? I feel as though a zombie is going to break through one of those doors at any moment o.O
Nothing to say other than this is looking absolutely amazing. I'm loving the direction you took on the color work, the attention to details is fantastic and the character is coming to life very nicely! That baby Chogath is gonna make so hearts melt. I'm really enjoying the progression on your work, great job so far keep up…
Pretty nice man. The skin looks too glossy to me. Also those hair strands that hang below her ears look odd. I get the design but they defy gravity and just meld into the hair in the back. Might be good to have something actually clipping them up in the back cuz right now it looks strange IMO.
Hi, everyone. Always wanted to participate in one of these threads, but I always made up some kind of excuse. Anyway, my goal here is to match the original style as closely as possible. Here's what I have so far. Still in the block in stage, but I'm not quite sure how I'm going to handle the melting floating skulls.
If you wanted to get around the flickery wings wihtout having to bring in motion blur, you could try smearing out the vertices as they animate like Valve do with the melee weapons in Left 4 Dead (the fire axe is a nice example). It'd take some fiddling about get it looking nice, but I think it could work here.
This car doesn't look too old, possibly early to mid 90s. It looks like it was burned, note the charring around the rusted areas and the paint on the front is still pretty clean. It also looks like the back bumper may have melted off. The car likely would not have rusted as quickly had the paint not been burned off.
