A really promising start Klaes. Are you planning to add any of the items that are outside the pub? Things like the lamp, and cart bring more context to the piece. To add where is the lions head?! That'd be really cool. keep trucking pal.
Minor Update: Arm frame complete. That pretty much does it for the outer frame base. I'll be going out of town for a few days, but I'll be back at it once I return. Next item to block in: the dress. Have a good weekend!
@danipanteez heh that bird is awesome. Really solid work all throughout. Keep it up! @TJ-Works That snubnose shark is fun @TudorMorris Nice! Heh I like the "crooked" one especially. Decided to sketch some kitchen items.
I'm trying to find a dynamic solution, due to certain effects. Like said character moving the spike along their body, etc. I guess I should model the item separately and use a Depth node to keep things simple?
Lots of great work in here. Here is a recent character design of mine. feel free to model. Credits to the concept, please. I'd love to see it if made. Higher res images and explanation of items here: https://www.artstation.com/artwork/kOW42
I guess that makes sense for larger pieces, and then getting more "free" with the other items... Will be interesting to see how things come out. I need to find out if Unity has a built in grid or if we will need to code something....
I have a dropbox folder that I organize to my needs. I've set it up in a way that helps me navigate it quickly in terms of the items I usually try to find when I am working. Is that what you mean?
looking at the gizmos on the boots reminded me of these shoes my friend bought. http://static.explore64.com/images/items/large/TNF/TNF1377/EDBFG.jpg The image on the right shows the little crank on the back that tightens the "laces" so there is no tying or whatevs.
I've been able to select 3 to 4 million polys as well. Maya slows to a crawl but it shouldn't crash. http://usa.autodesk.com/adsk/servlet/item?siteID=123112&id=9683256 These are the recommended specs. Get a Quadro and Maya will fly.
good to know, r_fletch_r ... just thought you might already be relatively comfy with the UVLayout side of things. I'd love to see it as a SetupTab store item, and gladly add it to my shopping cart. ;) definitely no promises expected, tho.
