Or you can do it like Ubisoft, have a dozen projects under the same roof then ship around hundreds of workers between them as they need ppl :P Factory-style! The montreal office is just craaaazy :P
Whoa this is awesome, the roof is really impressive, the asteroid and structure combine brilliantly. All looks very natural. You planning to add a few smaller props such as glasses, hand held items? maybe a few characters aswell?
Think I did alright for class, but as a portfolio piece it needs more work. *bevel edges near roof-line. *Improve grounding between the driveway and sidewalk *More vegetation would be nice. Any other suggestions?
Make sure there's no obstruction such as roofs or any player walking around, The hardsuit will fall down from the sky. To counter the enemy hardsuit you can buy a flamethrower to toast the pilot then steal the hardsuit GTA style :poly121:.
Maybe it's just me, but the actual subway tunnel part looks kinda low.Maybe that could be the scale part? Raise the tunnel and widen it too but keep the station roof height? Could be worth a try. Or maybe it's just me.
Hey I would try and not segment the design so evenly. every segment is roughly the same size and a similar box design. It would be nice to have the top of the roof be one part and more simple for rest area.
Get a Aerial Atom! Just as fast as a Enzo Ferrari but a fraction of the cost. (cept theres no roof, no windsheild, no stereo, just a supercharged Honda V-Tech engine straped onto a tube chassis w/ 4 wheels! )
yea I have not figured out yet how a roof would ever work. The character would just clip like mad through it, and you can never really be sure how tall the hats are going to be.
It looks very realistic. Can you show us some of the texture mapping you used? I love the shine on the roof and would like to know how you went about making it. Is it from a specular map?
Hey guys, here is the update. I added more geometry to the roof, walls, ground and pillar. I also had one of the artist at work help me setup up my lighting. Comments and suggestions are welcome.
