Thanks for this info. I ended up returning my copy of manga studio and buying Clip Studio instead. Since Celsys pulled localization from smith micro, there won't be anyway to upgrade manga studio beyond it's current version. So it's probably a better idea to own Clip Studio.
Well, i was pretty lucky because i had exported the different parts into Maya to clean them (since it's pretty hard to localize geometry issues into Silo). I managed to recompose the scene with all those obj and an older auto-save. I guess it's what people call a beta
In my experience as a USA freelancer working for UK clients, they want to pay in their local currency (GBP). It is up to me to add in conversion costs, so I negotiate an invoice that will end up paying me the full fee in my own currency (USD), after the banks have taken their cuts.
I mean, if you can't move and there are no local studios, then yes of course you will be limited to freelance / remote positions. I'm not sure why this is so worrying to you though, there is a lot of this sort of work available if you have a competitive portfolio. I haven't worked onsite at a studio in 10 years.
We were invited to a local podcast Mana Pau Hana last week :D We talk about Gaimoria, plans for it, our first convention, and all that fun stuff! http://manapauhana.com/2016/06/27/the-mana-pau-hana-podcast-episode-029-indie-game-gaimoria/
Caught it here in the UK, loved it. Really refreshing movie. It was a bit predictable, but it doesn't really detract. I intentionally stayed away from the trailers but i read the synopsis on my local cinema's website which gave a bit too much away. I thought that too at the beginning, but when
I'm not married but I've been with my girlfriend for the last 11 months, and the way things are going I don't think it will be too long before we tie the knot :) Just waiting till we can afford a place to live- she's a web administrator at a local web design company :)
[ QUOTE ] Oh and here is another interesting semi related topic: http://www.igda.org/Forums/showthread.ph...mp;pagenumber=1 Discuss too [/ QUOTE ] That is no suprise. Scientologists seem to sue anyone and everyone they can, and getting your local scientologist cop to come down on somebody is in line with those tactics.
I don't know if it's a repost or not but you can activate the older version in C:\Documents and Settings\BLABLABLA\Local Settings\Application Data\Autodesk\3dsmax\2009 - 32bit\enu\defaults\MAX\CurrentDefaults.ini [Scene Explorer]SelectByNameUsesSceneExplorer=0 set 1 for the default scene explorer or 0 for oldversion :\
