they're both equally good doesnt matter which app you learn as the basics apply to both just different layout. Also yeah that is the correct joan of arc tutorial. -

Very awesome work mate, just wondering what are the polygon count for those ingame models and do you normally use two 2k x 2k UV layouts? -
