I think your sculpt for the rocks could still use some work.. I recommend pushing the shapes and sharpening them up a little bit. I've been sculpting the rocks here at Psyonix, and I've learned that using the Trim Dynamic brush is awesome for getting those nice stylized shapes you are trying to achieve. -

Added doors, roofs, some trims and probably other minor strange stuff. Changed far side windows to balance vertical lines (I think I'll have to do it on a few more places). Door looks very clean ingame compared to actual texture, maybe cause of the ambient light? I'm outta mentos! -

i see a bunch of edge loops that could be taken out without much quality loss. and you could invest those edges to make the hanging cloth less blocky. in general you spent lots of polygons on tiny trims. normal map can handle them just fine, there's no need to keep them all as geometry. -

Small update - worked on clutter and adding window trim and skirting. Still got some placement to fix, and I'm still using scaled desks as blockout meshes for the locker room and a radiator, etc Edit: annoyingly, looks like the dirt mask for the bloom doesn't show up in highres shots -__- anyone know how to fix this? -

Do they? There's probably situations in which they do but I'm yet to see a real problem anywhere with handrail meshes in our worlds without bottoms or trim pieces without backs. If it's just a straight piece of handrail, a cuboid collision field is quite optimal. UDK can generate one based on the mesh's AABB which will… -

I started off by making a generic stone wall texture. Here's a couple of different types of base walls with the texture applied. A bit closer From here I think i will work on more of the modeling. Getting the window and window frames down along with sculpting the trim and shingles are next on my list of things to do.… -
Re: Marmoset 2 Scene - Tarot Room
Looking pretty good. First thing that stands out to me is that trim on the roof and the fireplace. Its all made out of stone or marble right? I think it needs a bit more material definition to sell it. How's Marmoset 2 for making full scenes like this? Didn't even know people were using it for that sort of thing.
