Hello :) I'm new to polycount forums and this is my first post.I modeled AKM-SU in blender. It doesn't have any textures they are just procedural materials.Modeling took 5 hours.Model has 1 million polys with smooth modifier.Rendered in Blender Cycles. Clay Render: Colored Renders: Wireframe:
Hello Polycount! This is my first post about a part of my second school year final project . I had to make a monster (sculpting , retopo, texturing,...) that had to be used as a final boss of my last project. Final Render Turn Around Wireframe Sketchfab model
If its scaling up after you reset xforms then its got a scale on it somewhere - could be from a parent or could be due to forced unit conversion. The wireframe thing is almost certainly due to the same scaling.

It appears to me that the eyes are too cartoonish compared to the rest of the creature. The teeth also look overly flat and clean. Can we see a wireframe? The tail looks kind of blocky, but maybe that's the pose/rigging/weighting.
I think pictures are just fine for characters. The only time I can think of that video adds to the presentation is if you are demonstrating deformation, but you can usually get a good idea from the wireframes anyway.
Marmoset was for the renders, then a wireframe... It was about 10,000 tris with 2048 textures, I've never done anything that big before. I need to fix some of the anatomy and... Add needs more "epic", that'd help :p
I'm adding the wireframes for the model as well. I still have clean-up to do, as you can see I've used the auto remesher in zbrush as a starting point and it needs some more manual labor :)
As few as you can to get the look you desire. If you make the carts first, then post wireframe shots in the 3d subforum, people can tell you if you could do the work more efficiently or not.
Hey RopRoy! Good to see you posting! Try showing us some still renders of your character. The wireframe, and maybe the texture. That will help us to help you. Keep working! Its looking promising.
