I think you just need to name the shader properly. Look for Shader Settings in the panel on the left. Path = FolderName/ShaderName. If you use the same folder name for all your shaders, then they'll be in their own rollout when you choose the shader from the material.
Hi @Kushy, this sounds like a new one. Could you post some screenshots of the problem? If you can send me the scene I will look into it further as well. Easiest way to do that is File -> Export -> Scene Bundle, and then zip up the .tbscene and /assets/ folder
Super solid work, going right into the inspiration folder. If I had to complain (and it's being nit-picky) I'd say everything is pretty monotone, with the exception of the second to last bust. That could just be the art of the game, but that's what stands out to me. Great artwork though!
I deleted my prefs folder and avoided using the first script again. If you use this one: layout -e -height XX ShelfLayout; //replace XX with desired height in pixels You shouldn't have any problems adding or reducing height to your shelves.
If you open up a NEW file, then load the old file from the max menu, I think that will retain your maxstart.max settings. Rather than just double clicking the file icon directly from the folder, it seems to work that way for me in max 9.
Hmm, I requested it using my yahoo account and didn't receive anything. I did the morning cleanout of my bulk folder without remember to check for the key first. So I went and did it with my gmail and I still haven't received anything :/
Check your UDK installation udk/binaries/actorx/maya/Maya2009_x64 There are all the plugins for the supported programs there. There is a specific folder for maya 2009 64bit, as rapture said some of the links on the UDN site are broken files (had the same thing for maya 2010 64bit version)
Wow thanks man ! this is going straight to my ref folder. I'm still working on that elf-girl for now, going kinda slow with retopo (and during my break). If i Ain't lazy, i'll scan and post some of the anatomy studies I made, for training purposes !
create a reference folder of things you like, look at other artists work, go outside and just look around, read books, watch some non brainless movies. play around with alchemy and try to find some interesting shapes that make you think of something.
HD can be rectangular as well and usually is unless you have a true HD camera. Anyway, easiest fix I say would be to re export the images out as square pixels in the correct aspect ratio. It's easy if she sets up an action and does a batch on a folder.
