@ Hughie, your right it does look a little thin, heres a quick texture job does having a stone base help this problem? or should i still scale it out a little.
Some great work here Cremuss. Good start to your axe. Though I think the way the blade reads right now is confusing. Like a mixture between stone and metal.
I've now built a simple tiled stone floor. I'm still not very happy with this or the last material. There's something fundamentally off about them. They read as kind of "dirty", I think.
Awesome lesson, just wondering are the tutorials going to be on your website? I actually just subsribed to your youtube channel when I watched your stone videos, will you update there?
Excellent work! I love the colors you chose for her. The only suggestion I would have would be to put the arrows sticking into the grass instead of stones on the road. Thanks for sharing!
Did some more work on this. Added some stones in the grout, reworked the albedo. Still more tweaking to do I think, in the meantime any more feedback? How it looks in Substance;
One of my favs among the weapons I have drawn. Imagine white razor shaped stone like weapon :P
They are suppose to be stone. I'll see if i can do something about the blobbiness; i'll try to reduce it and make it stand out less. Tnx for comment! Here's another image if that helps:
I quite like the art style, its simplistic but it still has a sense of realism, its not overly stylized. The background of the stone texture looks like of like acrylic paint on a canvas
Thanks guys! I appreciate the kind words :) alloa: you have a nice portfolio. I really like your sculpts and textures as well. The normals on your stones are crazy :) Cheers!
