The update to the concept art looks great. The composition and lighting look even better now. The sculpts are looking amazing as well! I'm just going to sit back and continue to enjoy the show. :D
Haha I totally agree @Skinner3D, this part had me puzzled as well. It looked like one continuous part to me and I just decided to stick as close to the concept as I could.
I had progressed alot in this preview - rendering most areas of the illustration and blocking out the areas of solid colour. I was continuing with in-engine tests to ensure readability and 'functionality' of the skin in the game environment.

Sony continue to baffle me, I wonder if they will get away with all their bellicose posturing and arrogant insistence upon the public being willing to endure the cattle brands because it says Sony. r.
That would be a VERY low part of the back since the tail starts below the pelvis and probably would have a few segments before separating from the body completely. It should continue the line of the spine.

I hate how he continually puts out this crap, it does nothing good for anyone trying to get a film made who just might actually have film making talent.
From the article, it seems like they're only closing a single Maxis studio branch, but still continuing work on their games in other branches. It even mentioned that many of the employees of that branch will simply be relocating.
I've a 9600GT. I find them to be quite decent. I've had it for a while so it's not...that ideal but it does the job and I'll continue to use it (Because I have no money for anything else ;P)
