i use very cheap mouse, it's like 5 usd, i sculpt with a mouse too so it lasts around 6 to 12 months. i'm happy with cheap mice. -

It makes quite a big difference when the reflections are very clear, although, yes, it's expensive, you're rendering the world 6 additional times per-frame. (At low resolution, but still) -

+1 for the Revolution. I got myself one 6 months ago - Really comfortable to hold and more buttons than you can hope for. The mousewheel freewheeling is ace, too. -

The 5820k is only $300 from Microcenter, a great price for a 6 core, 12 thread processor. I'm planning on going that route for my next computer in the next few months. -

Or to put it in another, much simpler way - for your first job, apply to employers who don't require any experience; and then endure whatever it takes for at least 6-10 months. -
Re: Box Unwrap in 3Ds Max
The quickest way to unwrap a box is the mapping-flatten mapping for 6 separate shells or mapping-unfold mapping for a single stitched shell. The mapping menu is in the edit uvws dialogue of the modifier.
