I think using a baking workflow for hand-painted stuff tends to work okay for matte materials, but for things like metals and gems you're going to have to paint in strong reflections to sell the material definition. I also think having a strong cavity map on everything tends to give a strange outlined look that's neither… -

Sheesh. Just found out that if you already had Steam open, it won't unlock. Need to restart Steam in order to begin unlocking. I'm sure this was documented absolutely nowhere... 3:15am, feeling crabby. Game had better be good -

I used to really like that game when it was a mod for UT2004, especially the tank (vs tank) vs infantry combat is great. But that steam release means that there is no Linux version anymore, so money from me (besides other steam issues). -

I support steam and just about everything they do, being able to play games on every computer you own, even on another OS, or even if you just log in on a friends computer, is plain awesome. Steam really supports indie developers and buyers with their sales and deals.
