Have you worked with WED clay, Pior? Given its air-drying, I'm wondering whether it's prone to cracking. It's got a considerably lower shrinkage rate than regular ceramic clay but I'm thinking there's still going to be issues with armatures if it dries out entirely.
@radiancef0rge: I use 3dsmax viewport, sry. Notepad++ for editing @Ashaman73: take a look at this: (the raw lightmap wasn't used in any test and it's here so you can compare the log10RGB encoded lightmaps with it) Decode the lightmap in shader and you get true HDR images:
Beautiful ! -if ur open to any crits I feel like his face (blue skin part) is a little dull / dry looking. I think it would look better if it had a wet feeling to it, but maybe thats just me. But its perfectly fine how it is !
Okay, what I did is converting from worldspace to tangent space and then worked on that. Now i need to reconvert that tangent space to a worldspace for use in SD. Sry for mixing things up. Yes, xNormal seems to work, never saw that option, thanks for the quick reply!
edit: sry i was to fast... i though you are working with maya... you have to load the mayatomr plugin in the plugin manager and restart maya... in 2012 mr is integrated trough extension attributes... so you cant turn them off and on during a running session...
