The first thing that sticks out is the inconsistency of the legs. They are all sorts of thicknesses. Secondly, if you are going for a stylized scene then the creature needs to be characterized in some way. Other than the skull face, the shape seems to be pushing the realism really hard.
Update from last night. Forgot to post argh.w Yeah I'm moving at a mind numbing slow pace right now , animals and non-bipedal creatures aren't my comfort zone so I'm rather wonky with these things.
I might do just that at a later date, more and more people are suggesting it. For now I'm trying to develop more aspects of it (and also trying to figure out a simple animated intro scene). Here's the first creature concept for DT:

Fish tail, dragon scales, bird wings, qilin face and elephant trunk + tusks, im an asian myself and i never heard of this creature before xD, anyway it looks pretty great atm, good work, keep it up.
i have the feeling that the yellow stuff takes away a lot of the focus... its hard to tell where your creature starts or ends, also the background black seems so dark the contrast yellow black does steal the show
Thought about the plant like creatures from At The Mountains of Madness and tried a new design for the top of his head...and yes I'm procrastinating on the clothing design a bit, tried a few concepts but nothing is turning out very good yet.
SO you want to say that, If i model something in Max, Like character or creature, i can exported it to Maya, and give that model to animators/riggers? What problems can come when importing model from Max to Maya?

I really like it so far. I know its early on, but would love to see some battle damage and suggestions of horrible carnage. Are you planing on adding some random biomass from an odd alien creature? -Neil
