@mitroi In my case, a lot of it was initiated by me. The company gave me the chance to explore houdini and find some solutions to certain grueling tasks that I and other 3D artists would have to do otherwise. I was actually thinking about getting a laptop, so I could get out of my place sometimes and still get some work done, especially since a Starbucks has just replaced a bar 20 meters from my place. ;) -

OP: Working quickly, 1500 triangle vehicles could be done in two production days each (assuming some basic textures but no normals). 10 vehicles = 20 days or $2 a day at the offered amount. The low end for freelance should be 100 times that. -

worked on the gun some more, pushed some stuff out and some stuff in, made adjustment to the edge bevels for extra chunk. ruined my mojo for 20 mins but it does look better from before, thanks so much for the Critiques guys! -

My only question and it isn't really addressed here, is the how big is the art book? If it is full size, then hells yes I want it. However, I am sick to death of games coming with art books and it is 20 pages and the size of a DVD case. -

Having an 11" Samsung Slate that I sometimes paint with PS on, I'd say 13" is too darn small for something that's stationary. I'd rather just have an itty-bitty Intous, and see what I'm doing on a 20+ inch PC monitor.
