D: Why would looking good be a factor for a file copying application? They are utilities, their fuctional purpose is way more important than how they look. We still use Telnet, that thing is just an ugly DOS prompt, but does it matter? -

Perhaps the new bug in Photoshop CS2 where when you click to close *Window A* after saving and it closes *Window B* erroneously which was usually unsaved...all without prompting you to save. Thats really goddamn annoying. -

Cheers thanks for the prompt feedback. So as a general rule black shouldn't be sitting at absolute black. Just reading through substance pbr guide "For dark values, you should not go under 30-50 sRGB". so then if the black area of the marble were sampled at 30,30,30 RGB that would be more accurate? -

I Enabled the Autosave in Maya Accidentally deleted the Model just when it was prompting me to autosave i some how fell forward on the enter button and boom all hours of work lost i mashed my head into the keyboard afterwards -

Just tried deleting my preferences. It prompted me to pick my controls/language again, but once it got past that, same issue. I came across that autodesk link earlier and it was no help. The hardware acceleration option is greyed out for me. -
Re: First semi-successful NM bake with some questions
Chase- here is the screenshot of my setup with the exploded scene. The red circled part is not even showing up in the bake. Also, the RTT keeps prompting me for a map slot for the MR AO map , but I deleted that path after I went back to scanline. It's not on the paths menu but I think it is still trying to calculate it. -

Joe, thanks for the hint about aero. indeed i am running on windows 'classic' (not 'classy') here. i am also using virtual desktops btw. i missed the duplicate functionality completely, duh. putting it in the edit menu and assigning it to CTRL C/V might help? as always, thanks for the prompt feedback!
