Zbrush doesn't have a built in way to bake your matcaps into your diffuse map, but there is a plugin called MatCap Baker that Joseph Drust made which will allow you to do it. Another important thing is most texture baking tools will treat glass as a solid surface, so an ambient occlusion bake will just be black inside there. So either hide the glass when baking AO, or find a baker that ignores glass. -

Hi Sunray, The reason you are getting the issue is because you are reloading/reprocessing the normal map via The Integrator. This is only a potential problem if you reload the exported normal map via the the Norm/Deriv button, which you should really need to do if you are using out Baker. The exported "baked" normal map… -

Ha, I was just about to upload some images saying that wasn't working, when I realized I actually had to enable Ignore Backfaces. If disabled (ignore backface says 'false'), the shadows are cast. By mesh do you mean the high or low poly mesh? The cage must fully enclose the high poly mesh otherwise you will get ray miss errors. you can also try decimating your high poly mesh a little, there is most likely many polygons that could be cut without any impact on the look of the mesh. That could provide huge Memory savings and make your bakes faster. But baking with xnormal using cuda cores is probably the fastest. You could also try using Turtle… -
