Started work on a dumpster. My first low-poly hard-surface model that I plan to texture and put in a scene (not counting accesoires for characters). nice work so far jackwhat, the chest to belt area is rather flat/expressionless but I guess it is a wip still I never finished my comicon entry yet :/ so Im working on it when I get time WIPSCULPT! Think I might give him a techy collar thing around his neck...what do you think?
@ man_o_mule I guess it's the mipmaping that kicks in when you move away. Don't know how to change it though. It looks a bit to clean and uniform, maybe try to blend some materials on the brick texture? Right my new years resolution is to actually finish some half decent personal work, did sod all last year. Working on a generic male head in Xsi and mudbox to start off. Ive made the base mesh and started a bit of sculpting. Going to add some asymatry to it tonight before i carry on with any more details. sculpt wip base
the lighting and DOF/focus range is WIP, the character asset definitely isn't (even if it could use some work - like always...). been playing with rendering game assets out for the folio recently. so far i have almost always used bare viewport screenshots but i'm growing to like to faking it a bit more. if only the shadows…

I took my old axe I made for Torchlight and "ported" it to match my wood sword. now with green Orc blood. I just started on a rickety wood shield made of fence posts. It won't stop an axe, but it might block a wood sword :P shield is just started so its super wip, just thought I'd post up the trio because they're fun.
