it seems you don't have the shelf for the tools. try running cryToolsInstaller.exe from the Tools/ Folder (with Maya closed). Afterwards in Maya go to Window - Settings/Preferences - Plugin Manager and make sure you have the cryengine 2013x64 plugin loaded and auto-loaded.
Very nice write up. Karmageddon and Jesse Moody this is just horrible I can't believe they would not even download the tests. I use Google Analytics but I did not know you can track separate folders, files. Will have to look that up.
WOW! I just found this thread today! This is really awesome! I think that you nailed the look and feel of the concept and really made it better! I can definitely see this as a full universe for a game, great job with this piece! Saved right to the inspiration folder!
et voila, this'll cut a keypress off. save the script in your script startup folder. run it. Go to customise UI click the keyborad tab set the category to "rt_ui_tools" click 'switch to perspective and frame' click into hotkey and press P click assign
Thanks Tectonic. They definitely need some love. I kinda forgot about the baleen ( yes you were right ) after not getting a good result. Your ref has some nice colors going on, thanks. It goes right into my ref folder.
Hi i experienced this and i just figured out how to overcome to it. i did this 1. uninstalled vc redist 2005 from controlpannel 2. from autodeskt setup folder which is called "3rd party" i installed it again and boom it worked
This is so beautiful. The color, this is my favorite "style" you'd say. It's like, magical and fantastic, makes me drown in my own thoughts. This is really, really awesome. I put this in my inspiration folder. Thanks for making it, and 10x more thanks for the informative tutorial.
Dropbox all the way. Simply drop files in your public folder. If you overwrite an image you've posted on many forums, it will be be updated everywhere + history. Also good for keeping an easy access to your files between pc's (like game saves for instance)
All your images are locked. You need to put them into the "Public" folder on your Dropbox for them to be viewed by anyone. Once they are in there, make sure you use the "get public link" feature and then use that link in the image tags and you should be good to go.
yes i did, 3 times, 3 different versions. downloaded from the udk website and installed them. then i took the files for the scene and placed them into the folders under c:/UDK/versiondate/engine/content opening the scene will crash no matter what.
