Lovely! Feels very plausable. very minor crit, the chalk on the chalk board could be more realistically done, it looks like a basic soft brush atm, needs some fading and texture.
@TonyNowak - Like the mixture of hard pixels and soft gradient backgrounds. :) Very cool! I forgot about LD, and missed this one. :( Here are some animations for a character in one of the games I'm working on :
might try and match the style of the body and eyes better. the eyes look very sharp and clean while the body shading is soft. almost looks like you've photoshopped the eyes on a render image.
New update: Still have the calipers and engine but I think the hard parts are over. :) C&C welcome, I'm concerned about parts seeming too small or inconsistent edge softness.
Yeah the only really glaring difference are in the wheels. In your reference the wheels are somewhere between a medium and soft compound but yours is what you will see in a 4x4 off road racing in Paris - Dakar.
nice one, i just saw your thumbs, its too small to see exactly what it is but i like whats on the background of the thumb 28...very soft and discrete. good luck!
The face could be a bit more soft, I guess. Everything else is perfect and I'm really looking forward to see more. This is one of the most refreshing concepts I've seen. Good job !
so do I, I'm user of DDo and also have got Ndo at work, there are many problems with this soft but it isn't so important , this plugins are excellent even sometimes doesnt work as should be
More color variation (dead/brown bits), add a soft gradient going from dark to light (center to tip). SSS might be overkill for an indoor plant in a dark room, but might help.
Thanks. The characters are made in Photoshop, then imported in ''2d spine'',its very simple ,and for me, the best soft for 2d game animation. You can play with meshes, weight, change the skins ,very useful.
