Try PSD, 16 bit TIFFs only load as 8 bit (its a problem with the tiff loader). This is likely a bit-depth precision issue though. -

Professional photo retouchers can expect to start being replaced by recent high school grads for $8/hour. But on a brighter note, HOLY CRAP! That's awesome! -

UDK only needs 4-8 in most cases, 16 if you want to be safe. Also, set a basic color in the BG appropiate for bleeding, that helps. -

check your image modes i know i lose diff ones when dealing with 8 bit 16 bit and 32 bit color. -

As long as there's enough power(350W is probably not enough) and cooling, I think a new GPU is worth trying as the cpu(Q9300) and the ram(8 gb) are nice.
