Congrats man! And yeah, just because you got a job doesnt mean you'll stop posting or stop visiting. In fact, it's when you should do it more often. You should always keep up to date on this shizzle! God speed son!
this is a terrible model of a gun, haha, it's kinda funny. how the hell would it work dude? it reminds me of a barbarella weapon. it's got needless buttons on the back, heh. but hey, practice makes perfect son. keep your chin up and your nose to the grind.
Although you can't get quite as much detail as with HDR, plain old tonal mapping & tweaking gets some great results as well. I took these 2 in San Francisco last weekend. They were done with a regular point-and-shoot FujiFilm A340.
screw phones man, my belt buckle gots mp3 support and video out!, gives my girl something to do while shes S'n the D. http://www.thinkgeek.com/gadgets/electronic/7c60/ its not that cool, but i thought this ws the appropiate thread.
Dat's sick, son! I admire your patience for creating this sort of tricount by hand. I get distracted and bored too fast when doing this uber hi detail stuff. And big props for the interior, I never liked doing those myself.
I make it so I have something to taunt my concept artist mates at work with. Those godless no-third-dimension-havin' sons-a-bitches! Then they come back at me with "you have to build what we concept", which makes me sad... :(
using scanline for rendering, with added brightness/contrast . probably a graven sin, but it seems to give more depth in the normals than Vray. as for the lack of "meatyness" thats because of the boat-shaped hull. the torsion bars are standing out from the hull side. more updates:
