I was hoping to get some soft lighting, but I'm not sure how possible that would be with dynamic lighting. Also the lighting is going to be similar to this image, which I have no idea how I'd fake dynamically.
Hmmpphh... Well I have my exported mesh from zbrush, obj. Took the soft-edged low poly... Loaded both up. Are you using a cage? Maybe its my baking settings :/
looks like you hade to high division when you started sculpting your face. and som edges are very hard and some soft, there are no edge consistens. But you've got a pretty good start otherwise!
Cheers for the feedback, I agree something isn't quite feminine enough about the face yet. I should play around with soft selection a bit more, luckily there are a lot of references for this person to work from.
Could you post a wireframe of the lp? Did you try to modify the UVs entirely? Then try also "resetting" the UVs by Normals>Set to face and then set the UV borders as hard edges and the other edges as "soft".
Have you tried to just render the AO pass without worrying about the transparency? The shadows you'll get are so soft, it probably won't make much difference whether it's taking the alpha channel into account or not.
I have the new Bamboo Pen & Touch and I love it! The only thing I dont really like about it is the hard surface, whereas the Intuos has that smooth soft feel to it when you draw.
that was breathtaking! Im sure that looked easily as good as environments in GTA4 and it was all destructable and animated and fitted into 180kb. I cant believe how nice and soft all the shadows looked. now thats was incredible. =0
The textures are really good, but a bit messy. The concept would get a better light if you used a more soft brush, and maybe try to use "Transfer" (If your a phoshop user that is) Good job, keep it up.
This is true. In fact, don't freeze soda unless you like cleaning freezers. I don't know much about this stuff, but does magma and iron contract when cooled? Any smiths around here?
