What graphic novels do you recommend?
My local comic shop is having a 25% off sale of all graphic novels. I picked up "Watchmen", and a cool unknown I knew about called "Semantic Lace." Thinking about getting the recent collection of "Ultimates". Any recommendations for MUST HAVES? -
Storyboards
Some frames from a recent freelance gig for a local studio. It's for a music video. Compositions/framing and sketch style were decided by the producer. Photos are from the sets (after boards were done), but I wasn't there :( Storyboards are a lot more fun to do than today's assignment which is... vectorizing fruits… -
Vanishing Banners

thanks pmiller001! I usually dry fit things to make sure they work, then figure out what I need to do to best make use of local transforms. but if you're asking about floaters, there's only a few. this was a modeling exercise from the start. -

I too am having the local thunk array error pop up. Forgot to grab the Listener screen/text. I'll try and remember to tomorrow, as it works fine at home, but today was the first time I've needed it at work, and it gave me that error. -

i had no idea what to do, no plan, didnt really know one can make a living in games. i dabbled with modding and had the chance during school to playtest at a local company. applied for an internship and got in. i sorta stumbled into it hehe -

Loving the tools so far! But I'm getting the same bug... 'core.py line 1855: local variable 'results' referenced before assignment # ' Can you post a link to the previous version (2.0.8)? As this is making Maya behave a bit flaky at the moment. cheers! -

I think there will be some more shift as we see jobs shift... Gameloft recently closed Auckland studio and opened office in Nigeria. They already have studio in Johannesburg. Granted most of it is for local markets, but it does open up possibilities to the rest of the world.
