I love that music video, but I wouldn't consider it a useful learning aid or a good example of any sort of workflow, really. It's cool to watch and pretty rad seeing zbrush used for something like this, but if you want anatomy instruction there are far better videos/books and even models you can download. This is a great…
Marine, it was the only thing i could think of to get that logo on to her and not have to rework her armor(thus trashing the texture) Elysium, thats because she is inside your moniter. Fat cap, Yeah, but i didnt realise how bad she was untill i got too far done and was running out of time. As for the next model, i plan on…
<--- massive fan, as you can see I have a Aliens USCM costume. I'm not sure how to take Ridley's statement of the Alien shape being worn out. If anything, it has evolved so far away from Giger's original vision that a return to original biomechanical beastie would be a breath of fresh air. Hopefully with Giger on board…
Lan, You seem to have an obsession with Blizzard! Nothing wrong with that really. You are obviously a fast worker and also skilled. As you can see by my avatar, I'm another fan-boy! The main concern I have with this as an 'environment' is that it's a little anti-climactic. What I mean by this is, the meaty details are all…

Just finished the blockout for this piece, it'll be part of a larger scene called Hermit's Pond later while also being its own standalone portfolio entry. By far the weakest parts of my last project were SubD modeling, sculpting, and handpainted texture detailing so I plan to go hard on those this time around.
Well it's been a while since I've posted but progress has been made! I'm pretty happy with how everything has turned out so far. There are some texture colour tweaks that I still need to work out. Rendering the piece in Marmoset Toolbag 3 as well. I'm not to big of a fan of the shadows and lack of contact shadows that the…
I love the HP work here, and sticking to the original design of the gun was pretty awesome. This project so far is shaping to be one of my favorite G3 projects (one of my favorite weapons). I have to say though, coming from someone who owns probably 4-5 of those vertical fore grips, it seems too fat. They are normally…
I'm flying out in the afternoon of the 22nd. As far as I know there hasn't been any new information about the Workshop involvement at the international. There was mention of a signup sheet during the FAQ but since then not too much. I would say you could expect more information soom though. Last year the Compendium came…
Yeah that's commonly called a sandwich :) Yeah better appreciated with a good meal or directly at the producer, don't buy shit from a supermarket, or it'll be the same kind you get in canada. A Religieuse actually :) there are so many awesome ones :) but you can get a lot of them in KANEDA Brie with salad and a balsamic…
